3. Processing of Personal Data

4. Orders

Before placing an order, please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. You can review and correct your order before submitting it. Items in your basket are not reserved.

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to refuse or modify orders in cases of incorrect information, doubts about creditworthiness, or suspected fraud.

5. The Offer and Contract Formation

The presentation of products constitutes an invitation to purchase. By clicking the order button, you submit a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract. You must accept these Terms and Conditions before placing an order.

After placing your order, you will receive an automatic order confirmation email. This does not yet constitute acceptance. The contract is concluded only when we send you the shipping confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse orders, for example if:

  • The product is not in stock
  • Payment is not authorised
  • There is an error in pricing or product information
  • There is suspicion of fraud

If you have already paid, you will be refunded.

6. Prices, VAT and Import Duties

All prices are shown in EUR and include VAT where applicable under EU law.

For deliveries outside the EU, including the United Kingdom, the following applies:

  • Your order may be subject to UK import VAT, customs duties, handling fees and other charges upon arrival in the UK.
  • These costs are not included in our prices or shipping fees and are entirely the responsibility of the customer.
  • We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.
  • Any import VAT, customs duties or clearance fees are non-refundable, even in the case of returns or refused deliveries.

Important UK clause:

For orders with a total value above £135, UK import VAT, customs duties and handling fees may be charged by UK authorities or the carrier upon import. Unless explicitly stated otherwise in writing, shipments are sent under DAP terms, which means:

  • You, the customer, are responsible for paying all import VAT, customs duties, clearance fees and any other charges imposed by UK authorities or the carrier.
  • These charges are not included in our product prices or shipping fees.
  • We have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.

If you refuse delivery, fail to pay customs charges, or the parcel is returned to us for any reason related to delivery issues, customs or import fees:

  • You remain responsible for all incurred shipping, return shipping, customs, VAT and handling costs.
  • These costs will be deducted from any refund due to you.
  • Any customs duties or VAT already paid will not be refunded.

7. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are shown at checkout and are not included in the product price. Rates vary by country and order value and are displayed before you complete your purchase.

8. Payment Methods

Payments are processed via Stripe (integrated in Shopify). We accept: iDeal, Sofort, PayPal, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, UnionPay.

9. Promotions and Offers

Promotions may be subject to specific conditions and are valid while stocks last. We reserve the right to change or cancel promotions at any time. Price changes after purchase do not give entitlement to refunds.

10. Shipping, Delivery and Non-Delivery

We ship from our own warehouse using DHL, DPD and PostNL (international: DPD).

Orders are usually shipped within 1–3 working days. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for carrier delays.

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, you must report this within 7 days of receipt.

If tracking shows delivered but you did not receive the parcel, an investigation will be started with the carrier. You must cooperate fully and provide truthful information.

If a parcel is returned due to:

  • Incorrect address provided by you
  • Failure to collect the parcel
  • Refusal of delivery
  • Non-payment of customs or import charges

We reserve the right to charge all resulting costs or deduct them from any refund.

11. Cancellations

Once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled. Cancellation is only possible if the order has not been delivered within 30 days and tracking confirms non-delivery, and only after confirmation by Mauré.

12. Right of Withdrawal / Returns (UK & EU Consumers)

You have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order.

You must notify us within 14 days via email or via our return portal:
https://maure-bv.returnless.com

Return shipping costs are at your own expense.

Returned items must:

  • Be unused, clean, and in original condition and packaging
  • Have no stains, odours, hair or signs of use
  • Include all original accessories and tags

We may refuse returns and refunds if:

  • The item is used, damaged, washed or altered
  • The item is unhygienic or not in resale condition
  • The return is outside the return period
  • The returned item does not match what was delivered

If a return is refused, no refund will be issued. Repeated abuse of returns may result in account suspension.

Refunds are processed within 14 days after receipt of the return and will be made via the original payment method.

UK-specific note:

Import VAT, customs duties and handling fees are never refundable in case of return or refusal of delivery.

13. Warranty and Consumer Rights (UK)

Products must conform to the contract and be as described. This does not affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law (including the Consumer Rights Act 2015).

Defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Warranty claims may be settled by repair, replacement or refund.

The warranty does not apply if:

  • The product has been misused or improperly handled
  • The product has been altered or repaired by the customer or third parties
  • Care instructions were not followed

14. Liability

Our liability is limited to the total value of your order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

15. Retention of Title

All goods remain the property of Mauré until fully paid.

16. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to strikes, war, natural disasters, technical failures or supplier delays.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in force.

18. Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent Dutch court, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence (including the UK).

19. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on the website and apply from the moment they are available online.
